Social outcast in school with absolutely no friends during my formative years. Today is my 30th birthday. My therapist told me I should try to stop avoiding the trauma of birthdays I spent alone at home and crying. So this year, I invited about 50 people. 9 told me they’d come to my party. 2 last-minute cancellations, so 7 people. I was pretty bummed about the low turnout. Still, grateful for the 7 people who said they would come.

It’s twenty minutes after the time the party should start. Noone’s here.
